Several photos, one picture to share
A collage puts a set of photos side by side in a single picture: a weekend trip, a before and after, a family get-together, or a product seen from four sides. One picture is easier to post, print or send than a dozen files.
How to use it
- Choose 2 to 12 photos or drop them on the box above: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF or BMP, up to 50 MB and 40 megapixels each.
- Pick a layout. The tool starts with the smallest one that holds all your photos.
- Put the photos in order with Earlier and Later. The first fills the top-left cell, then left to right, row by row.
- Choose a size, the gap between photos, the outer border and the background color.
- Drag each photo inside its cell until the right part shows, then download the collage as JPG or PNG.
Layouts and sizes
- 2 side by side or 2 stacked suit a before and after.
- 3 gives one large photo on the left and two smaller ones on the right.
- 4, 6, 9 and 12 are even grids: 2 × 2, 3 × 2, 3 × 3 and 4 × 3.
- Sizes come square, portrait, tall and wide; 2400 × 1600 has the 3:2 shape of photos from many cameras. A custom size can be up to 6,000 pixels a side.
Good to know
- Filled cells: every cell is filled edge to edge, so a photo is trimmed to its cell’s shape. Nothing is stretched or squashed.
- Empty cells: with fewer photos than cells, the spare cells show the background color. With more photos than cells, the extra ones wait in the list until you pick a larger layout.
- Gaps and border are measured in pixels of the finished collage, so 12 pixels is a thin line on a large print and a clear one on a small post.
- JPG or PNG: JPG makes smaller files for photos. PNG loses nothing, so its files are larger.
- Private: your photos are opened and arranged on this device. Nothing is uploaded, sent or saved, and the download carries none of their metadata.
- Other jobs: to trim one photo first, use Crop Image. To make the finished collage a smaller file, use the Image Compressor. An animated GIF opens as its first frame.
