To-Do List
Add your tasks, tick them off as you go and keep them in the order you want. The list is saved in this browser only, with exports and a delete-all button.

A to-do list that stays on your device
Writing tasks down leaves your head clear for doing them. This list keeps them in one place, in the order you choose, and remembers them the next time you open the page in this browser. There’s no account and nothing to install, and the tasks never leave your device.
How to use it
- Type a task and press Add task or Enter. Give it a due date if it has one.
- Tick a task when it’s done. Untick it if it needs doing again.
- Use the arrow buttons to move a task up or down, so the most important ones sit at the top.
- Press Edit to change a task’s words or due date, and Delete to remove it.
- Choose All, To do or Done to change what the list shows. Clear done removes every ticked task at once.
Due dates
A due date is optional. Tasks due today are marked, and so are unfinished tasks whose date has passed. The marks follow your device’s calendar and update when you come back to the page, but the list can’t send reminders.
Backups and exports
- Export backup saves your whole list, in order, as a JSON file. Import backup reads it back, here or in another browser.
- Export CSV gives one row per task with its status and due date, for Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.
- Delete all removes every task from this browser after a second press.
Habits that help
- Keep tasks small enough to finish in one go: “Email Jordan the draft” is easier to start than “Work on the report”.
- Date only the tasks that really have a deadline, so the marks mean something.
- Look over the list each morning and move the day’s most important tasks to the top.
- Export a backup now and then. Clearing your browser’s data clears the list too.
Good to know
- Private: tasks are kept in this browser’s own storage and never sent anywhere.
- Limits: up to 500 tasks, each up to 300 characters.
- Two tabs: if the list is open in two tabs, a change saved in one shows in the other.
- Other lists: for a job search, the Job Application Tracker keeps each application’s company, status and dates. For longer writing, the Notepad keeps up to 20 notes. To work through one task without distractions, try the Focus Timer.
