How to reorder and delete PDF pages
- Choose one PDF of up to 100 MB and 200 pages. A thumbnail of every page appears.
- Move pages with ← and →, and delete pages with ×. Deleted pages fade but stay visible, so ↺ brings one back.
- Press Save new PDF. The new file has the kept pages in the order shown; download it.
What it's good for
- Putting scanned pages back in order after they went through the scanner mixed up.
- Removing blank pages, a cover sheet, or pages you don't want to share.
- Moving an appendix or a signature page to where it belongs before sending a document.
Reading the thumbnails
Each thumbnail is numbered with its place in the original file, so you can always tell which page is which after moving things around. The count at the top shows how many pages there are and how many you're keeping. The buttons work with a keyboard too: Tab to a button and press Enter, and the focus stays on the page you moved.
What stays the same
The kept pages are copied into the new PDF exactly as they are: text stays sharp and searchable, pictures keep their quality, and web links on the pages still work. A few things belong to the document as a whole rather than to its pages, and don't carry over: the bookmarks list in the side panel, and the workings of fillable form fields, which may no longer be fillable in the copy. The original file isn't changed.
Long PDFs
Drawing a thumbnail for every page takes a moment on long files, especially on phones; pages appear as they're drawn. The limit is 200 pages, to keep that manageable. For a longer document, take out the part you need with Extract PDF Pages or Split PDF first.
